Guiding Women Back To Their Innate Wisdom So They Can Move Through The Storm Of Emotions, Find Clarity, And Navigate Conflict Peacefully
A Glimpse into the Future…
You are going about your day as usual when all the sudden the conflict you’ve been having with your loved one – conflict that keeps happening over and over again (maybe even for years) – flares up again.
But this time, it’s different.
The reaction that initially surges through your body, igniting the urge to put on your armor and get defensive…
Has softened.
You find that your typical reaction to:
🔹Yell about all the hurt you’ve accumulated because you just want them to understand how you feel,
🔹Avoid feeling how you really feel inside by focusing on what they have done wrong,
🔹Not say anything because you feel exhausted and scared at the thought that this conflict just isn’t solveable…
Has shifted and you are actually able to face all that’s happening within.
You breathe and find space between that surge of emotions and your typical reaction.
Instead of charging ahead, you are able to listen.
Listen to yourself and understand. Listen to the other and understand. Understand what’s going on beneath the storm of reaction.
With that new understanding, you can clearly communicate and the other person also stops their reaction.
It’s like the wind vanishes from the storm.
What replaces the reaction is a calm, clear response.
And there is finally a way through the storm. You feel…
Relief.
Is This You?
✧ Have you reached a point where you are so tired of emotional reactions getting the best of you…But you have no clue what else to try to change?
✧ Are you tired of being stuck in conflicts within important relationships, instead of enjoying time and connection?
✧ Regretting all the things you don’t say for fear of judgment and creating more disconnection?
THEN YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE.
As a human being who came into this world with an anxious, worry-filled mind, I learned very early on that these emotions ‘weren’t okay’ and ‘made others uncomfortable’. So I got good at masking them despite the turmoil continuing on within me.
We are taught to view emotional reactions as ‘good’ or ‘bad’, when in reality they are neither. Emotions are communication from within, trying to get our attention. Instead of fixing, avoiding, or escaping them…
All they actually need is to be heard. Emotional reactions are a truly powerful gift of being human.
THE INNER ROADMAP™ PROGRAM
For twenty years, I have walked alongside women as they navigate emotional reactions. The reality of growing waitlists and moving abroad, sparked a new mission: To move beyond one-on-one sessions and create a way for more women to access the wisdom I teach every person I work with.
I have distilled two decades of clinical and spiritual expertise into the Inner Roadmap™ Program—a unique synthesis of my journey as a Yoga student, a Yoga Teacher, and my professional experience as a mental health therapist, designed to help you harness your inner wisdom.
This program represents a fundamental shift I believe is necessary to move from reaction to a calm response in the face of conflicts inherent in all relationships. This shift is – Begin Within.
The emotional reaction starts within each of us. We must explore and get to know our reactions in order to move through them. I witness time and time again when a woman does this, everything shifts. The realization that the road to calm, peace, and contentment is fully in their power becomes clear.
Typically what happens is women are taught to go outside of themselves to ‘fix’ how they feel, which is actually disempowering. When we learn to trust what we observe within and listen to it, connecting with what we truly need and actions to take become more clear. You can trust that ‘knowing’ instead of thinking someone else knows better what you need.
Participating in the Inner Roadmap™ Program will give you the foundation to transform the way you meet your own reactions and the reactions of those you are in relationship with in life. There is no need to go searching for anything else. You will have your personal Inner Roadmap™ to guide you the rest of your life.
The Framework
The overarching framework of the Inner Roadmap™ Program is:
LEARN – INTEGRATE – MASTER
This program is heavily oriented towards integrating the knowledge and practices into your daily life. You don’t need to add new activities or overhaul your life. You just simply live life as usual and practice your new perception and skills as life happens. Change won’t happen unless action is taken.
I have found in my life, most courses and programs in the world are heavily reliant on giving lots of information without guidance in turning that information into practical actions to create lifestyle changes. The Inner Roadmap™ Program is different.
Participation requires being active and responsible for your learning process. Over time, with repetition, the integration of the new habits or the Inner Roadmap™ Program will be mastered. You will do them without thinking because they will be a part of who you are and what you do. This process continues long after the 4 months in the program.
The Nuts and Bolts
The Inner Roadmap Program is a 4-Month, Online Group Coaching Program that includes:
A 30 minute Onboarding Call to get set up with the technology of the course so you can put your energy into the learning and growth process right away.
The Inner Roadmap™ Curriculum, rooted in Yoga Philosophy, is made up of video lessons and handouts to guide you in seeing a more true view of emotional reactions and conflict so you can face what is happening in the moment, move through to calm relief, and gain understanding of who you truly are.
Access to 12, 60-90 minute, Live Weekly Group Coaching Calls with me to answer questions, deepen your understanding, and hold you accountable when motivation wanes so that you integrate the knowledge and practices of the program into your daily life. These calls help practices become habits and a part of you, rather than just being information you forget. This Program is about transforming your mind…not just giving you a ‘feel good’ moment.
An online Community Chat where communication between Group Coaching Calls happens for you to get support on a daily basis from myself and other group members. This allows you to be a part of a supportive community so that you know you aren’t alone in this process and can feel safe and supported. Human beings thrive in a supportive community.
Leave the Inner Roadmap Program with your own Personal Roadmap that you will use to navigate emotional reactions and conflicts that happen in your life so that you don’t have to go searching again for a ‘fix’ or ‘solution’. You just keep coming back to what works for you.
When Can I Start?
Currently, new groups start on a quarterly basis. To enquire when the next group starts, sign up for a Clarity Call with me (Twyla).
Since the Inner Roadmap Program requires personal commitment and active participation over a 4 month period, I require a Clarity Call to make sure the program is a good fit.

Your Program Facilitator: Twyla Gingrich
I have been on the road to self-understanding, doing it differently, and calming my mind for most of my life. It started in 3rd grade, when I was tired of being painfully shy and not doing things my heart strongly wanted. So, I started to challenge the voice of fear and worry little by little, trying things that doubt said I shouldn’t do. This practice helped me to learn how to build community, dive into travel adventures, and learn how to use my voice to support others.
At the start of graduate school, I had a period of depression following one of my first ‘identity crises’, which guided me to a greater understanding of common human struggles and the importance of accepting support from others. I also began to see a common pattern between anxiety and depression, not only in myself, but in the people I began working with…no matter their age, gender, background or history.
In 2011, while I was experiencing my dream of living in India, I felt overcome by my emotional reactions within my relationship with my partner. I had gotten upset at him, blamed him, and told him I wasn’t sure I wanted to still be in the relationship. He excused himself to go for a walk and I felt immediate regret. Was this actually how I felt? And then…
A Realization. Here I was, half way around the world and still cycling through the same emotional reaction patterns. This wasn’t the first time I had reacted this way. I was in this beautiful, spiritual place – and I was miserable. The only common denominator was me. It was time for me to face myself.
Within a month of this ‘epiphany’, my dear Yoga teacher, Prasad Rangnekar, asked me to join his first Yoga Teacher Training and Self-Development course. It changed my life. I’ve been facing myself ever since and supporting women to do the same. Yoga is the path that has provided me the container to identify the source of my suffering. My western mental health training started me on the search…but it wasn’t enough.
Simply, the western psychology philosophies all seemed rooted in the belief that emotional reactions were something to fix. Yoga Philosophy, on the other hand, is rooted in the belief that there is nothing to fix as we are already divine beings. The work is to clear out and refine the mind to be our True Self. This shift of awareness makes all the difference!
And if you want my credentials…
I am a trained Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Addictions Counselor, E-RYT 500 Yoga Teacher, and certified Meditation Facilitator. I have worked with humans from age 5 to 85 in a variety of settings: wilderness therapy, community mental health, county jail, schools, crisis hotline, and private practice since 2004.
Nothing brings me greater joy than having the honor to hold space for a woman as she sheds the layers of who she’s been told she is and discovering the possibility of who she truly is. When we connect to the innate power within that opens up understanding, choice, and clarity – confidence, trust, and contentment are within reach.
